Jeremih has been teasing the release of new music for a while. Well, there is some news today.

The hit making singer has officially parted ways with his longtime label Def Jam, HHNM can confirm. Jeremih has released three studio albums with the iconic label: Jeremih, All About You and Late Nights in addition to a collab album Mih-Ty with Ty Dolla Sign and the fan favorite mixtape Late Nights with Jeremih.

Jeremih’s last and final release with Def Jam was the single ‘Room‘ with Nigerian Afro-beats star Adekunle Gold along with 2 Chainz which came out in July 2023 to celebrate his 36th birthday.

The singer survived a serious case of COVID-19 when he was admitted to the hospital following multiple organ failure at end of 2020.

To mark the start of the new era, Jeremih has dropped a cover of Thee Sacred Souls’ ‘Can I Call You Rose‘ called ‘Frooties & Chews’ along with a video which you can watch below. A new album is currently in the works and is due out later this year.
